Week 8 EOC: Creative Content

The Creative Content for Forever Mint is going to be an advertisement song. It will be a catchy song that will try to get the attention of costumers. The advertisement will be upbeat to try to relate with this generations kind of in music. The Song consists of drums, guitar, piano and vocals. The drums in the song our very fast and is mostly snare drum that continues to the end of the song. The dynamics of the advertisement are rather low because we wanted the vocals to be the main part because that is the main thing that will catch the customers attention. The texture of the song is light because we aren't trying to make it seem like death metal we want it something that you would enjoy and also the kids. It is light and happy because we want our product to make sales and if we had it sad and depressing it wouldn't get very far.  We want the lyrics in the song try to make you curious about the product and make it sound like something you would want to try. We try to make it known that it is the most popular around christmas because of the ingredients that Sweet Minty is made of. It is very upbeat and can get stuck in your head. There is also a picture that of our product so you can see what the jar and everything looks like. As you can see it looks like its a homemade jar with cloth and a bow. The picture was made by using photoshop and putting the product name on the jar. We will have all our advertisement done through the internet and social advertisement. We will do this because social networking is becoming the larger way for advertising because so many people are using it.  "Over the past few years, a new type of social interaction has exploded onto the scene—online social networking"

Week 7 EOC: Final Project- Pitch

The product I would be trying to sell is Forever Mint. "First, we look at the organization’s overall strategic planning, which guides marketing strategy and planning." Forever Mint is a Peppermint Chocolate sauce, it is a sauce that is made out of real milk chocolate and has a pinch of peppermint in it. This is a great product to have and use around Christmas time. You can use Forever Mint on ice cream and can even put it on brownies. There are many things you can use forever mint on when you are baking to give it a chocolate mint flavor. We want our product to stand out to the customers because their needs are important. "Consumers stand in the center. The goal is to create value for customers and build profitable customer relationships." The Forever Mint sauce hardens when put onto cold dishes so if you want something soft but also crunchy this is your sauce to use. Forever Mint is six dollars for a 12 oz. bottle and four dollars for a 6 oz. bottle. All profits go to charity to help those who need something. With buying Forever Mint you are helping those people get the resources they need"Consumers make many buying decisions every day, and the buying decision is the focal point of the marketer’s effort."
With a little bit of sugar we can help those get further.

Week 6 EOC: Me x 3

Three things that define me are my iPhone, mac, and Ford Focus.

My iPhone is something that defines me because I always have it and am constantly using it. It is the way I keep in touch with my friends and family. I also use my iPhone for work or to contact someone on a project I am working on or helping someone with their own project they are completing. I use it to take pictures and show them. Social Media is also something I use it for, even though its mostly just to see what other people are doing.

I use my mac for many things that go from personal use all the way to business. I record music on my mac and do many projects that relate with audio production such as music, voice overs, mixes, composing etc. When I have time I also play games on my Mac such as Counter Strike Source. I also chat with my friends on my mac when they have time to chat. It is also where i do all my business work for my own company.

I use my car to get to all the places I need to go whether its to get to school or to go out of state to visit family. My car is very important to me because it helps me get to the places I need to be to get somewhere in life. It is something that holds value and lets me see friends and play music and test music that I make.

Week 5 EOC: Social Networks and Job Hunting

In the article about Job recruiters turning to Facebook to fine people to work for them. Companies are going on Facebook to try and find some people to work for them in a certain area that they need an employer. Some companies have signed up with Facebook and they use the website to help find people to work for them. If you have an employee who finds someone to recruit they will give that employer some money. People love talking about thing that make them happy and enjoy. Companies that everyone enjoy are trying to come up with new ideas to bring to the people. These companies are turning into influential brand ambassadors. One they pick someone to be an ambassador for that company they are trained to talk about that company and go out and talk to people. Now some ambassadors do not just talk they also will start and create a blog and then start blogging about the company too. A lot of ambassadors love their job and they don't see it as one they just enjoy going around and talking about what they love. I was perusing the “gigs” section of Craigslist and saw an ad for JetBlue lovers. I do love the airline (unlimited snacks! low fares!)—and was intrigued by the idea of a flexible 10–15-hour workweek and the possibility of training at JetBlue headquarters in New York City. I applied. In my two phone interviews with RepNation, I talked about my enthusiasm for the brand, my life at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), and my Facebook profile with its over 300 RIT “friends.” I was accepted to JetBlue’s CrewBlue ambassador program and flown free to New York for a day of training with 41 other reps from 21 campuses."

Week 4 EOC: There's an app for that

An app that should be created is an app that tells you what other kind of professional workers in your area of working are and what they do. It would be called like pro work and you could use it on any kind of phone and anywhere because it is very important to know everything about the kind of people you are hiring and what kind of customers you have. Such as if you had a client and needed a video game designer you be able to go on the app type in what kind of profession you are looking for and it should bring up some people in that area. It should also have reviews on customers or tell their story of a customer that never paid on time or anything so that if that customer is dropped and goes to another person they know about the issues that person has. It should also have reviews to tell if they are good at their jobs and if they are reliable. The app should be simple enough for people to know how to use but also have everything they could want in an app such as business numbers so they can contact them. You want to hire someone who is good and does not do a bad job just because they are lazy. You want them to put the customer before them and do a good job on whatever you are hiring them to do.

Week 3 EOC: My Demographics

The generation I was born into was Generation Y. We are the largest generation since the Baby Boomers. We are known to be sophisticated and technology wise. We are less brand noble because we grew up with it and have seen it all and know what to expect. We are simply flexible because everything has been growing since we have been born. We are also the technology savvy group because as we grow the technology is getting better and better so it is easy for us to use because we grew up with it and have always been around it. Generation Y has been pampered and nurtured unlike some of the other generations. We have been raised well with new things constantly coming out. We question everything from our parents, technology to jobs that are coming out. We are very curious and want to know everything about anything. We are a more realistic generation because we were also hit when economy went down and have also seen it when it was good. We are skeptical when it comes to employee loyalty so we like change a lot because they don't plan to be in one career for a long time. "An environment where creativity and independent thinking are looked upon as a positive is appealing to people my age. We're very independent and tech savvy"

Week 3 EOC: Making Money for Good

Blanket America is a business that sells Blankets, sheets, comforters, towels etc. when you buy something from them you will be giving a blanket to someone in need in Haiti. This is called the buy one give one initiative. They also make a donation for every Blanket America product that is sold. Blanket America has provided disaster relief to Haiti with blanket donations, and created jobs with your demand for our Choose Haiti line of products.
